[ROM] Eclipse v3.0 (6/5/12)

Are the directions the same coming from another ROM? I will be coming from DT Purity ROm. Thanks Also I got my update to .893 through installing this rom I do need to go back to complete stock and get the update and then root again?

Unless you are upgrading the same rom and the developer states that you do not need to reset data (I do anyways) -- you always want to reset data, cache, format /system, and wipe dalvik

The only thing that may be different is if you are coming from .901 patch to eclipse, if so you need to download the pre-installed radio fixes posted in the .901 thread.

Keep a copy of titanium backup handy and do a batch backup of all apps + system data before wiping.

After u flash, re-install titanium and do batch restore of all system settings + data but click de-select all and only select the ones in green (do not restore ones in red) that are important to you. (such as dialer history, mms, wifi p/w storage, etc).
Then you can proceed with a batch of all missing app+data and its safe to restore anything in that list.

Ok good was worried since I got the 893 update from installing a ROM not OTA. Will be doing this tonight! Cant wait!

You only changed your system not the radio, so it looks like you have the update but you don't
