I will be traveling where I will have no Verizon voice/3G data access. I have installed Gmail as the account on the Motorola Droid's native email app. Will I be able to access that Gmail account using wifi hotspots only, without having to use the browser and Gmail web client? I plan to put the phone in airplane mode so it doesn't look for a CDMA voice or HSDPA data signal. Thanks, chashood
