Email not updating on its own.

I just got my Droid two days ago so I'm still trying to figure everything out. I have three email accounts set up. One on Gmail the other two on the combined inbox. I have them all to reset every five minutes but it never lets me know when I have an email. I have to go into the email and manually refresh it. Am I doing something wrong?

Are you using a Task Killer? If so make sure your email programs are excluded.
