only if samsung would get their act together and keep the phones up to date. They do that and they have a winner.

thx 4 posting those vid's, but the whole Samsung update thing is kinda messed.

I look at it this way: Samsung has supported their top-tier phones (Galaxy S update 2 Froyo Nov 2010 as you can see here), but Verizon has delayed those updates over here. So I have no reason to believe they wouldn't support the GS2 similarly, so -- if the phone is rooted & the dev community gets behind it -- we'll get updates away from the provider anyway, right?
