Yep, engadget put a link on their homepage that takes up half the screen to get their apple sheep out there to vote and scams are currently running for Pre and iPhone (and possibly Droid)

Man, that is brutal. Had a friend who lost a toe in an accident years ago - lawnmower (ugly story) - and his biggest obstacle was learning to balance all over again. Hope your recovery is much more positive!
