Eris 2.2 rom info

yea you can root with 2.1. i did the OTA 2.1 update and had no problems rooting. just make sure your HBOOTis not version 1.49 if thats what it is out of the box you cant root.

This is the link i was given Froyo - Page 9 - xda-developers it doesnt actually have the 2.2 rom in it though

I just flashed this last night and it is quite buggy. I am not able to run setcpu and it has random lockups, including not being able to power down without a battery pull. but I am excited for the progress and look forward to 2.2 rom as my everyday rom in the near future! :blackdroid:

i cant wait ither but you are braver then me lol. did u go back to your old rom after flashing the 2.2 rom? or are you going to use the 2.2( being very buggy) for everyday use?

I went back to my everyday rom (not sure which im using as im a flash-aholic) but I am wating for my everyday froyo with patience.
