Even More Froyo

Okay, I am having issues with installing busybox. With these instructions.

"To install busybox use Android Terminal or ADB Shell

TYPE:
Code:
sumount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system/xbinbusybox --install /system/xbin/mount -o remount,r -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
You have now installed busybox"

I am trying to use Better Terminal emulator, and when I type in the first line and press enter I get...

/data/data/com.magicandroidapps.bettertermpro/bin/sh: sumount: not found

you need a space in between "su" and "mount".

please link the directions you're using

Thank you wuyanks. And there is no need to link to the directions I am using. I am/was using the directions from the first post in this thread :)

Anyone else have MLB AtBat that isn't showing up in the market place? Is that something I will just have to live without until 2.2 becomes official?

Again if you are coming from a froyo build a wipe may not be in order. I recommend you wipe though. Start fresh it can't hurt. This is going to be ther last leak and im told the official VZW file

I was using previous froyo build and this one put me in a boot loop. (I didn't wipe first) What do I do now?

How come we can't move anything to the SD card now? I know I had a lot of apps moved to the SD card. What's up with this?

Installed this leak, wiped cache 3x, factory reset 3x and I've had no issues. All apps downloaded from the market automatically, restored data for a few apps from Titanium, no busy box issues, able to move certain apps to SD (such as SetCPU), overall pleased.

Ran a 1380 Quadrant with stock kernel, installed Chevy's ulv1200 and ran a 1637! Pleased as can be.

I did notice though that the launcher isn't 3D now it's just the standard page it's always been on stock Droid. While I don't like the left to right scanning on ADW, I think I'll be installing it now.

Running this with Chevy1's LV 7-Slot 1.0ghz kernel. Very smooth and snappy, not laggy like it was on BB v0.2.1. I haven't ran a Quadrant yet though. So far so good! Oh yea, and no wipe of any sort and maps updated without a hitch. Thanks Miami and P3 and whoever else put in the work to get this.

my apps are moving to sdcard

The only thing I successfully move to the SD card was SetCPU. :( Everything else was grayed out.

Remember not all apps can go to sdcard only those the dev allows.

here is a list.
Pandora
Titanium
Google sky
root explorer
titanium backup

Now I notice when I click an app that allow me to move it to sdcard I got an error message, just click to move it to sdcard again and it will move it.
