Even More New Leaked Pics of the Droid Bionic

Here's my skeptical take:

The pic with the phone info stating "Droid Bionic" is the only pic you can't see the beveled lip. Every other picture(which looks an awful lot like the D3) you can see the reflection of the beveled edge. I think those are picture of 2 phones, the one saying "Droid Bionic" possibly being the real thing, but you can't tell anything about the form factor from that picture. The other pictures, like the back of a phone saying 8MP camera and 4Glte, I think are from a different phone.

I really hate the chin/lip...wtf...where did it come from?
Looks more like they did a Droid 3 in two versions of the 3g and 4g variety.

+1. I believe you're on to something. I have to agree with this assumption. The only pic with the Bionic name is the close up. Not to mention we all know that this info can be changed fairly easily. Just saying....

Really..... so it will do 4G, are there any images of the physical keyboard?

Not that I know of, but you can see the recessed "lip" at the bottom of the supposed bionic in the pictures above. What would be the point of a lip right there if not a physical key board?

ya I am definitely in the camp that the lip means slider. In one pic u can see the bottom half of the phone even sticking out a little bit off the side

The second pic states "Model Number: Droid Bionic" or do they typically put other things there to confuse the masses? I'm going with it's a Droid Bionic, though. Looks like a kewl phone. I could see myself upgrading from my DX to one of these!

I've been waffling as to which phone to get. I won't be able to upgrade until April though. So, I have to be patient. Very. Patient.

Well... this picture shows a new phone called Fiddlesticks. So... must be a real phone, no?



Just because it SAYS it on a LEAKED picture... doesn't mean it's real. I just spend 2 minutes making this. Anyone can do that...

I'm not saying it's not the Bionic. I'm just saying... don't always believe what you read/see... especially on the internet.

Well, if they faked the original, the original faker matched the font almost perfectly (if not perfectly).

The photos all appear to come from the same Chinese website. I guess you could say the first photo is faked since it is the ONLY close up of the phone where you can't see the body of the phone. BUT, I have seen a larger picture of the first photo and it contains all the same information, though, it too, appears to not show the whole of the phone, just the screen.

For all the discussion regarding a slide out keyboard, I just don't see it. I see what may be a bevel around the top of the phone. I also see that it doesn't cast a very big shadow from the lights, so if it has a keyboard slider, then it appears it would be an anorexic keyboard.

Goodness, I didn't know I had to get a lupe out to examine these photos. :icon_eek:

I've also seen other pics (not from the Chinese website) of what is being called the Droid Bionic and it appears to be attached to a keyboard or dock, and on the screen is "webtop mode."

I have seen other discussions where at times this phone is called a Droid 3, guess we won't know until this stupid thing is released.

I still like this phone and can see it as a replacement for my DroidX.
