Kinda glad I didn't get a razr just because of that. I'd feel a little gypped if I just got a sweet phone and another one came out as soon as I got used to my new one. I was seriously a milisecond away from a razr too. Really nice phone.
Which is why I don't se the point in the razrmaxx, from Motorola's perspective sure, they're raping the consumer blind. From a logical standpoint not so much..if I can crank out 18 hours on my nexus, a razr can sure as hell do the same or better. People just need to be educated in draining and charging for calibration.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Razr and my wife loves her Bionic. Neither of us have buyers remorse. There will always be problems with early adopters and I've seen some of the issues with both phones. Also, I'd like to have the bigger Maxx battery and if I can swing it, I'll swap out my Razr. BUT; after coming from the POS Droid Charge, I couldn't be happier with either phone.
