Excange my new Droid for Incredible?

Exchange my NEW Droid for a Incredible?

I had a Droid since launch and last weekend I dropped it and broke it. I then called Verizon and got a new one for $369.99 with $100 rebate by re-upping with a 1 year contract. Now with all this talk of the Incredible I was wondering, since this is a new contract, if the 30 day return policy would apply? Can I just return / exchange this for the Incredible once it comes out?

One thing is that I have the Droid car doc, multimedia doc, car charger, a battery charger and 2 spare batteries. Now all of that would be useless if I went with the Incredible.

Note: I NEVER use the keyboard.

Do you want the Incredible?

If yes, get it.

When you go for a new phone in a year, the accessories you have still won't work on that phone. It's the nature if the beast.

If you enjoyed while you had it, the money was worth it, imo.

Be happy while your alive, I say.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if u get the Incredible, wont u still have 30 days or some days left to exchange it back to a Droid if u dont like it?

I actually didnt like my Droid the first few days. I thought I had the dreaded 'mute' problem. Either the 2.1 update fixed it or rooting. Either way the mute issue is gone, call quality is good, reception is good.

Anyway, I think u have time to switch back if u dont like the Incredible.

I thought about switching to the Incredible since I'm still within the 30 day window to exchange. Still might but I really like my Droid. Plus, I do use the keyboard from time to time. If you like the Droid, keep it. As far as I can tell there will always be something to upgrade to. For now I'm good with the Droid. Heck, I just got it how I want it.

Just traded my Moto Droid for HC Inc.

I was on my 28th day with the Droid and loved it. I happened onto a Incredible Review and after reading that and several others I got my box out and sent the Droid back. Hope I did the right thing but I am pretty confident that I did.

I am confused. You have a droid and you broke your droid and got a new one and had to pay $360 for a new droid? If yes then why did you not get insurance on a phone that was obviously expensive. I got insurance on my droid it cost someting like $5. My claim is something like $80 per max two claims per year but it covers everything, even if I am a total rtard an leave it somewhere. I am not made of $$$ and do not have the $$ to keep buying phones.

My Droid was received by Verizon on the last day of my 30 days so I received credit and then ordered the Inc. I thought it was going to be 199. but turned out to be 149. so I am happy. Should be here tomorrow.

I am in the same boat! Have til May 5th to exchange my Droid for the Inc. if I choose to do so. I think I am going to make the plunge for 2 main reasons:

1. I hate the physical keyboard

2. I prefer lighter phones and the Droid is definately on the heavy side.

My only concern is battery life in the HTC.

the incredible is such a small upgrade it isn't worth it IMO. If I knew someone who was going to get a NEW phone I'd tell them to go with the incredible since it is slightly better in terms of power and having flash 4.0, but if I were you I'd stick with the droid since you got about a hundred dollars worth of extras with it. I almost ordered the incredible yesterday, but to me its not worth it I have everything you have for the droid, but only one extra battery and didn't feel like buying all the new stuff again.

Jealous. Bought the Droid on launch date.... There is no hope for me. lol. Really really want the Incredible. I say go for it. I truly believe its a better phone than the droid, minus Sence UI (which hasn't sold me yet).
