Extended battery still half off at Verizon?

Question...

So I just got the extended battery and its not that much bigger (physically) than the 1850mAh battery. The only bad thing is If I wanted to carry both batteries with me I'd have to carry both covers.

So my question is, would wedging (or taping) a piece of paper behind the 1850mAh battery in order to fill the gap and fit in tightly with the extended cover on would be a bad idea?
This would be the first thing I would try lol.

Just came back from vz, got my extended battery and silicone case. Now I don't have to be so scared when I take it out of my pocket

I actually just use the extended battery cover and carry the STD battery as backup. The std battery still fits without it being loose at all with the extended battery cover.

I did this with my OG droid. dont see any harm done if it isnt too tight

I know it does fit, but if u press down on the cover, you can feel the gap in between which I want to eliminate but not quite sure if it's safe to do so with the method I'm trying to use.
