It would be interesting to see how the Bionic circuitry works with the 3rd party extended battery. On my OG Droid I had the Seidio extended battery and it was hard on an unrooted phone to get an accurate reading. The stock battery indicator said the phone was dead long before it actually was. I ended up using the Battery Left widget, but had the setting for mv and not percentage. I knew that 4200mv was full and 3500mv was "time to charge." The Verizon extended battery seems to work well in terms of giving an accurate reading.
Get what you can, there isn't an extended (Official) Bionic battery to be had anywhere in the country. Warehouse is even empty.
There is now. VZW online has them. I called Saturday. They were out EVERYWHERE! Looked online and called last night and they were in stock. Tell them you are having data issues see if they will knock off some of the cost.
just checked VZW.com and they are in fact in stock and at the discount price of $24.99!
Better hurry the sale might end soon, its been going on for a while! I think Imma purchase it too

No problem. How long on LTE do you get from your Extended battery? For those in CDMA / 3G only. What is your battery life with the Extended battery. OEM. ThanksCool, thanks for the update, mine needs replacing.
I got mine a month ago for $24.99 and it wasn't on sale. They are replacing mine just got off phone with them.

replacing... wait seriously, don't tell me moto and VZw are having issues with their batteries now too!?
and these replacement 4000MAH batteries are about $20 w/ a cover as well...
I'm in a solid 4G area and I get no less than 24 hours of what is heavy use for me.
Typically it can run for 33-36 hours on a single charge even though I do charge it every night.. it's just nice to know that if I were away from power there would be some reserve.
The times I've had to manually switch to 3G (when I know I'm going to be working in a basement for an extended period) the battery life has been excellent. I'd say it increases by nearly 100% when switched to 3G only
