Extra update notifications

Whenever I get a notification I have app updates, it is always off by one. It will say there are 3 updates, and when I go to download them, there are only two. Or it will say there are 2 and there's only one. And sometimes it says there is one update and then I don't have any apps that have updates available. Does anyone know why it is doing this?

Actually it just did the same thing to me. It told me I had an update but there really wasn't one
