Facebook app...

I was looking through my app drawer the other day, when I noticed a Facebook app. I am not a facebook user, so not only did I not install this, I never would. I have no idea how it got on my phone (was it included in the Liberty 1.5 ROM, or maybe a theme? I think the only theme I've installed is the Red Gingerbread theme)

Anyway, I want this off my phone, but I can't uninstall it through any of the usual places; the uninstall button in Manage Applications is greyed out, it's not listed in my applications in the Market, and it's not listed in the list of uninstallable apps in the Liberty Toolbox.

Am I just going to have to manually delete the apk?

It's not included in liberty but was most likely in a theme. Because it is in /system/app you can't uninstall it normally. If you go into Liberty Toolbox -> Manage Applications -> Remove Apps -> click the menu button -> Select show all -> check facebook -> click menu button and then click remove apps you should be good.
