facebook contacts not syncing after factory reset

I dont remember how i did it the first time. im pretty sure i just added the facebook app then sync all. but that doesnt seem to be doing anything. it added all my gmail contacts, but thats not the ones i really wanted. I wanted all the contacts from facebook too. i know the app just got an update so im not sure if that has anything to do with it

did you go into the settings and select the ones you want?

also, theres an app called facebook sync that adds to the fb app
