Factory reset gone wrong

Hi,

so i recently did a factory reset as my phone battery has been draining at an alarming rate and i thought it might help. Now my phone is stuck on an endless loop of telling me that "Unfortunately, Set-up Wizard has stopped" and asking me to uninstall and reinstall Google+. I can access the menu bar and connect to wi-fi but nothing else. It also keeps telling me there is a problem with the google servers in the set-up .

any ideas? I'm currently ready to break it.

thanks

First.. Welcome to droid forums.. What is your device??? You already did one factory data reset.. Perhaps something got corrupted?? I would(this is just me) try doing yet another one.. An inconvenience I know..

I'm sorry, I'm of little help. I'm not familiar with htc.. Hopefully someone who is familiar with htc can chime in here..

Have you checked to see if there's a update or anything like that??
How long has this been going on??

HA! Having updated it a week or so ago I didn't think to check that. There is. Fingers crossed!

I seem to have had repeated problems with the battery and constant updates for about 3 months now.

Cheers. I'll be back if It doesn't get anywhere .

Welcome to the forum UNnapptBunny! Good luck & report back back after the update. [emoji106]

No good unfortunately .After the update installed it froze with a red warning sign and now I'm back to the google servers being down and startup not working.
