Failed install of Roms.

So im going to try to make this simple. I've tried to flash SpearmintGumD3 Using CWM with bootstraped recovery. I used to get an error message saying that the signature was not verified, and now its going through okay but i can't get pasted the moto screen after reboot. the steps i did were... 1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset 3 times, 2. Wipe Cache Partition, 3. Install .zip from SD, 4. Reboot. and ive also tried... 1. Mount system, 2. Wipe Data/Factory Reset, 3. Remount system, 4. Wipe Cache Partition, 5. Remount system again, 6. Install .zip from SD, 7. Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Every time i do either one or simply try to just install the zip without wiping anything i still cannot get past the Moto screen after rebooting my system. can anyone help me on this? am i doing something wrong? and i missing any steps or doing too many? im using moto D3 on 2.3.4 verizon stock rom 5.6.890 XT862. If someone can help me as soon as possible i would really appreciate it.

have you tried flashing any other ROMs?

This one was ported from Bionic and the dev stated he hadn't tried it, but heard that it worked. I also don't see any support posts since April.

I've tried cm7 PE4.2 SD3_5600-OC cm9 and cm9 Adv. Beta #1 and none of them worked.

i'll try to simplify it.

prefer safestrap (currrent ver 2.10) over bootstrap. read guidot's guide for use as it is a bit different
enter recovery.
mounts -->format /system x3
wipe data.factory reset x3
advanced -->wipe dalvik cache x3
flash ROM
wipe data.factory reset x1
wipe cache X1
reboot

I can confirm it works in safestrap, I never used bootstrap.

i got stuck in recovery and had to disable it to get out. can anyone help with that? if u havnt noticed im new to roms and recoverys

What do you mean by stuck? And where you in non-safe or safe mode?

i was in safe mode. i rebooted then went back into recovery with safe mode on. then i followed the steps then it went past the recovery option while booting and it wouldnt do anything past that. i say probably for a good 2 hours after i tried again.

okay let me rephrase that. i was stuck on a black screen and you could tell it was on.

I tried to flash grapegum while ago multiple times with multiple downloads with nothing but a black screen...I finally gave up...

im about to give upive tried eclipse 2.2.2_906, SpearmintGumD3 Adv.CM.Beta #1 - XT862, aokp_solana, cm-7.2.0-sholes, D3-MavROM-4.5, Darkness Falls, PE4.2, and SD3_5600-OC. thats 10 different roms all ending up with a black screen. im starting to get really mad.
heres my details about my phone, sys 5.6.906.XT862 2.3.4 Baseband N_03.18.32P Kernel 2.6.35-7-g5fa4155 xrpk47@il93lnxdroid25 #1 Build 5.5.1_84_D3G-66_M2-10 ERI 5 PRL 52826

Only thing I can recommend is to use safestrap instead. It seems to play nice with D3...but I absolutely hate the fact that I can't flash over official vzw fw!
