Faster ally homescreen

Download Launcher pro in market. In makes the original homescreen seem like crap and it should be bundled with all midrange phones. What makes the original homescreen so slow campared to launcher pro? Is there some major feature that the original homescreen has that launcher pro doesn't?

Nvm I it caches the homescreen that's why its so smooth when scrolling
