flashing sprecovery

ok my clockwork hardly ever works and i have done a lot of things to fix this issue and it just doesnt work half the time so i am gonna change to sprecovery for now..my question is when i try to go into sprecovery, it says errror 31...do i need to flash sprecovery back into my phone using rsd or what can i do to make this work.....
