For everyone who could not get root from Razr Blade

After a week of going around every possible forum to figure out why Razr Blade would not root my phone, I finally got it done! SUCCESS!!! Finally got it to root. The key was a complete internal Factory Reset. When it asks if you want to wipe internal music and pics, check yes. This is an important step, don't miss it. The root went through without my having to do the Smartactions manually. It just went from beginning to end and was rooted. So to everybody who were getting the ,can't find su, you must wipe. Backup everything first. Finally !!!

BTW, the factory reset is under settings>Privacy>factory data reset

BTW, the only way you are going to get wi-fi tether to work is to pony up $3 and follow these directions. It's easy and it works. Barnacle and Open Garden will not work. This method works perfectly . XDA

Odd...so you didn't select the Battery Saver in Smart Actions like the utility says to do?

I didn't have to do a factory reset or wipe, everything worked.

Glad you were able to get the root performed.
