I called Verizon. My new phone is on the way. I'm amazed at how easy that was.

I am having the same issue. I am wondering if the replacement phones people are getting are refurbished or new units. Anyone input?

Ok, I just got off the phone with Verizon. They're shipping me a refurbished phone. Not sure how I feel about that. My girlfriend had the LG Chocolate and she had to return the phone at least 6 times in a 3 month period due to problems with the refurbished phones.

I suppose my next step will be to create a nandroid backup of my current rom and return to stock.

Question about the refurbished phones. Are they asthetically the same as a new phone (ie, no scratches, no dust, etc.)?
