Ford Sync does not recognize my voice commands

hello, I new at this so hopefully I'm doing it right. Anyway, I just got a new Droid Razr Maxx HD. Loving the phone until I tried to make a hands free call in my Ford Fusion using Ford Sync. It would not recognize any name I tried. The phone that I replaced was a Samsung Galaxy Fascinate. It worked perfectly in my Ford. My wife has a Samsung Galaxy III which also seems to work. Does anyone know of any fix for this? This will be a deal breaker for me and if I can't get it to work this week, this phone will be going back. Called Verizon, but they were not much help, basically said some phones don't work so well with some cars and maybe I should take it back. Thanks for any and all help.

My Milan works perfect with mine. You have to remember to download the address book to the car during the bluetooth set up

I found out the problem was with the 6 digit pin I had to type in on my phone to connect with sync. Another post mentioned how to get a special pin which was only 4 digits. After connecting with the 4 digit code everything worked great.
