Found Out Why GB's Killing My Battery (with Temp Fix)

Blue indeed indicates Google sync is functional, in no way does it indicate signal strength.

Disable google sync and the signal indicator should stay white.

Well, it doesn't for me. Google Sync is completely disabled and my indicator is blue.

I meant disable background data not sync, sync will also be disabled while background data is disabled.

When b/g data is disabled the indicator remains white, enabled (Google sync doesn't function without b/g data) the indicator remains blue.

That makes sense, but the indicator turns white when b/g data is disabled even while mobile data is enabled.
