Four Loko

Four Loko is being pulled.

However... my buddy who works at a package store told me that Four Loko is going to repackage their product in two separate containers (one for the alcohol and one for the energy drink) and sell them together.... with a warning that says "DO NOT MIX".

Technicality that they can get away with to keep their product on the market. I believe it should be pulled altogether but I digress....

Just wanted to share for those who are enthusiasts of it.

I actually had heard that as well. I'm desperately hoping that's true because that would be awesome marketing. I'd have to start buying em if so.

Whatever happened to people taking responsibility for their own lives and actions? Go swallow a bottle of aspirin and you'll probably die. Should we take aspirin off the shelves to protect people from themselves?

That one kid shot himself in the head after drinking 3 cans of it and his parents are suing the company. His death is tragic but to blame it on a drink is ludicrous.

I agree. Too many cases of people scapegoating their problems on something/one else. I don't want to imagine a world without twinkies, judas priest, or violent video games.

I would have to say a world without twinkies, judas priests, and violents video games would be quite boring and i have to agree with that also cereal killer people should take responsibility for their actions and quit blaming it on other easily scrutinized subjects. the company putting it in separate containers is a clever solution to the new band. Vodka & Red bull is pretty good tho if they try to further the band lol

The Lemon four loko isn't bad. I tell you though, it's a great way to start your night, especially if you're tired. It ridiculous that the government is getting involved though, if people want to be stupid, let them. I think rather than banning it or changing it around, they should just require a huge warning label or something.

I've found though that 2 four lokos or more will leave blank spots in your memory from the night before...good times

What ever happened to natural selection? Survival of the fittest? The kid who swallows too many marbles doesn't grow up to have kids of his own. Simple stuff. Nature knows best!

Looks like Loko hasn't done harm to anyone here. Sounds like it creates fun times for all of us and it just boils down to taking responsibility of ones actions. Survival of the fittest looks like it just skipped a generation.

I think what it really comes down to is stupid people do stupid things, you put a loded gun in the hands of a moron and they'll shoot themselves in the foot. But i'm not an idiot and I want to own a gun and I want it to be packed with caffeine... wait...

Well I'm 22 but yea I agree, if you can't handle yourself then either don't drink, or drink and suffer the consequences. I think its ridiculous that I won't be able to drink this stuff because a bunch of people can't control themselves. And I don't mean that as in "I love this stuff and can't live without it", rather, I should be able to drink what I want. If people want to be stupid and drink themselves to death, thats their problem. Blaming the drink is just another way to avoid taking responsibility.

Its funny cause one of the kids I heard blamed it on four limo but admitted to doing coke after and smoking a little bit of a joint. But it was probably the limo that got'em right?
