foxfi has a new update today

I am with you on this. I am not installing it because I don't want to lose my tethering ability. I use it way to much. Is there any way other than rooting to get rid of the notification to install the update? I really would like to stay stock if I can and also stay on Verizon's unlimited data plan.

Countryboy, you can still bluetooth and USB tether with JB if you use a third party app like Pdanet+.
You will lose WiFi hotspot though, and as of now there is no way to use hotspot without rooting, until hopefully Pdanet+ can bring it back.
