Fragile Screen?

I use to wear the clip too until my wife banned me from it. To get her back I have a "Holiday mustache" she can decide what's more stupid....lol

Golf clap for that one sir!

Women are so easy, you can always get what you want, you just have to give up something.

Just FYI, MTV is not relevant these days. The MTV cliche may have worked 20 years ago, but not today. :D

And wearing it on a belt clip is something that almost nobody notices. Go for it.

Really? How do you figure? People are influenced by every thing we see and hear. Hence the reason for companies advertise on television and radio.

I dropped a bracelet on my Razr from maybe 3 or 4 inches above the phone and it cracked my screen.

My phone has been in my pocket everyday since Nov. 11th, with many a bending over, never once did it crack. And I have a thread on here about how I had the phone in my hunting coat's cell phone pocket, bent over to tie my hunting boots and bounced the phone off the asphalt. A little crease in the upper left corner where it hit the asphalt, but nary a scratch more than that.

Maybe your theory about flexing is a good one. I don't know, all I know is that this is the best phone I've ever had the pleasure of using.

Yea so I've had my phone since they were first released. I've kept it in perfect condition and a couple of days ago I used my phone. When I was done talking I put the phone in the chest pocket of my north face fleece. I hopped in my truck and drove over to my buddy's house that's literally 2 miles down the road. When I went to use my phone, the screen was just a bunch of lines and I noticed a small crack on the lcd panel behind the gorilla glass. The crack was about an eighth of an inch and was located on the very outer edge right in the middle of the volume up and volume down are located. I lightly pressed on the and the crack traveled across the screen. Sounds like a lot of people are having problems with their screens breaking.

Not all pockets are the same ;)
Some have more space than others.

I've seen women wearing very tight jeans with an iPhone in their back pocket, and wonder:
Isn't that phone going to crack when she sits down?

Really, I'm looking out for the phone, not her ...
Or am I? Hmm... ;)

Don't want this thread to get moved to the Off-Topic forum :)

Concerning the hip clip i am 19 years old and i used to use it until i realized I'm missing out on the best looking and feeling back to any phone to date. That and I'm too lazy to put it back on lol but i don't think its a generation thing i think its a case of rebellion peer pressure and pure stupidity. I've used a clip since i got my enV. Never broke it and i dropped it once accidentally. So i mean don't go blaming the whole generation just blame the ones that live under the influence. Which unfortunately is 98.7% of us. I'm not included in that thank god.

Have a nice day :)

I have an Otterbox Defender. I use the clip, but I'm now old since I just hit the big 4-0.

Dropped the phone today from about 3'. No damage. Otter saves the day.

Phones on a clip/belt case are the pocket protectors of our generation. We always need a nerd-identifier badge, so I fully endorse people using them. I need to know who to approach in a group if I want to talk about Special Relativity or I need something translated from Klingon.

I get that, but you have to wonder about all the idiots who keep breaking screens from stuffing phones into their "skinny jeans" and then going....."OH MA GAWD?!?! WHA' HAPPEN??"

Skinny jeans. The scourge of our youth.

I have the Razr Maxx. I will not place it in a waist pocket.

Although I did have it in my robe pocket (yes, I have used the Razr while on my porcelain throne). I leaned against the sink counter. About halfway through brushing my teeth I realized I had the Razr against the counter.

I am sure it would have cracked if it had not been a Razr Maxx.
