Free full body Stealth Guard protector for Incredible

Cool. I just ordered one for my Incredible and one for my wife's LG Ally. However, I did not check out the installation info before doing so........not really all that crazy about using liquid on the screen/phone to install this protector. We will see. I am only going to use it as a back up to my current screen protector and case anyway.

Woah thanks for the share! I think I'll order one before I even get the phone haha.

I'll pass

i love anything free, but i am definitely passing on this one...

i am never using anything like zagg invisible shield again, where you use liquids to apply...

they never fully adhere and the second you try to pop a case on, it will peel up and bubble and warp.

if there were no shipping costs, I STILL probably wouldnt get it....they're just a pain in the ass.

But still, thanks for the heads up. If you find any more freebies, keep em coming! This just happens to be probably the only free thing in the world I would pass on...

check the other thread. its a complete waste of money. theyre total crap. mine went straight into the trash. $2 shipping but they just throw them in a regular envelope. dont even bother.

I used the Zagg invisible shield on several iphones. I'm not worried about the liquid part. I used a full body shield on my iphone a year ago and it's just now starting to peel up in certain sections. My wife's phone spent an hour and a half in a storm drain under 2 feet of water (the phone actually worked after drying it out). The shield peeled up a little when I blew it out with an air compressor but I pressed it back in place and it lasted another 9 months or so. I'll most likely go with the Zagg on my Dinc, probably not the full body wrap, though. Sounds like QC on the freebies may be a little off.

I have used many of these types of shields and the liquid to install is a non-issue!!!!! I have never had a problem putting them on or damaging my phone. You just have to be careful and not soak the thing!

100% in agreement. Both the Skinomi and Ghost Armor shields that I applied to my and my buddy's DI's used liquid, and went on with absolutely no problem. I just ordered this one, and plan to put it on another friend's DI. Thanks to the op for the heads up. :icon_ banana:

I have the skinomi cover which involves liquid but after nervously applying it, it came out amazing and I've never had a problem with it. That and my seido case are clutch.

Has anybody who got in on this received it yet, and if so, please post your comments. Still waiting for mine. Thanks!

I ordered it but never received it. Beginning to think it might have been a scam, but no fishy transactions on my account yet...

scared

i'm always afraid of buying things online, but with this new Dinc, its impossible not to with all the accessories they need.....the best deals are online

i just broke down and ordered it, hopefully its not a scam or i'll be piiiiiissed

In the original thread on the Droid X forums, there are people who say they got theirs, and they don't sound too pleased. I guess from what they are saying, the protectors are shipped in a plain envelope and are low quality protectors. Hopefully it's just an exaggeration....just have to wait and see when I get mine!

Got my Stealth Guard today and did part of the install on my D1. If you have never installed a skin before, it DOES take patience and precision. This is not for people who just want to slap something on and walk away. I installed the back and front pieces and so far, it looks nice. I will post pics when I get it all installed and the air bubbles dry out. I used a very small drop of baby shampoo with the water and dipped the skin into it and shook it off before applying.

I used to have one on my other D1 but my last D1 had to be swapped so I ordered a new one. I think it is worth the shipping costs if you have the patience for an accurate install.
