Frequent phone charging.

I charged the battery on my DX without any kind of system or thought, just plugged it in whenever. The battery still lasts forever after 8 months of me doing things that way so I wouldn't worry. And as mentioned, batteries are cheap now!

I charge my phone pretty much all day long at work. My battery rarely goes below 70%. I did the same thing with my Og Droid for the close to two years that I had it and battery life never suffered. I did do a full discharge and recharge 5 times with my Bionic when I got it which I feel is necessary to calibrate the battery and the phone to read the battery correctly. Then once a week I will do a full discharge and recharge.

The manual recommends charging at 25% remaining and unplugging at full

Dumb question,, but where in the manual did you find this info? The only thing regarding charging I found was to charge it for 3 hours prior to turning it on the first time.
