Froyo 2.2 Friday?

I just wish someone, anyone, NOT AS A JOKE, could tell me if the 2.2 update will be this month and will it have Flash.

Most likely it will not be in August. Hope for early September but just hang tight. When it comes to flash, yes. ALL Android 2.2 devices are able to download and use Flash 10.1 from the market. End of story, no discussion.

Oh and by the way. Chill out dude.

Grain of salt here but tech told me today they had started pushing 2.2 as trial run but had paused the push for unknown reasons. i do know my D1 got it last night. still waiting for my dx update

The 2.2 update for the Droid 1 and the Droid X are completely different. You can't base the release of one as compared to the other.

Google doesn't control when, what, and if the updates are pushed. That is ultimately controlled by Verizon. Google is done with 2.2... it's up to Moto and Verizon to tweak it to the devices.

I really like my X now. They can wait until they finish 2.2, get it right, then release it. Who would want a buggy OS?

UMmm, No. August is mid-summer. Early to mid September is late summer. Summer lasts until about Sept. 21 when Fall comes in. At least it used to. These days----who knows?
