FROYO: Screen turns off when plugged into power

I was hoping by now someone would have come up with a app to stop that clock screen saver mode.......

There is a setting that has to be checked. Go to applications>development and then make sure that stay awake is checked.

Asterisk, Thanks! I just got Froyo today through Verizon's OTA update and this was driving me crazy listening to music in my dock with the screen locking up.

Dang - can't believe I didn't catch that but thanks!! I had check all my other settings and couldn't figure out why the screen wouldn't stay on while charging.
For me it happened when I updated from Simply Stunning 4.5 to 4.9.

Hi!

I´ve notice in my Motorola that when I plug in the usb charger, the screeen turns on and 3 seconds later, it turns off...that´s what I like.

Instead of that, my Galaxy Tab, when connected or disconnectd to the charger, the screen turns of at half bright and keeps on until I press the lock key again....this different ways of notification, can be a hardware issue or simply an operating system setting?

I wish that my tab works like the phone and power off by itself.

Any trick?
