Froyo update for the Android

Will Froyo be available for the Droid X?

yes but i believe it got delayed a few weeks. I'm not 100% sure on the time frame as i don't have a dX so i dont pay much attention to the dX news.

My android phone says Firmware 2.1-update1. When I check for available updates, it says none are available at this time. When did you get 2.2 officially? Am I looking at the wrong place?

You should have received it OTA, unless you are rooted. If not, you can install it yourself. Just google 2.2 Official download and you will find a link.

My phone is rooted. Do i just update to 2.2 on the rooted phone or is their an un-root??
