I have scoured the forums and tried to find an answer before I posted this.

I am running Debloated/Deodexed Froyo Leak+root+Froyo Clockworkmod. I have tried the SC versions and they are a bit too superclean for my taste. I love this version but HATE the full battery popup and sound. I am a noob at this and have done everything so far off walk thoughs. I cannot find a way to get rid of the popup and sound.

Can anyone do a quick walk through about how to get rid of this. I have tried the hidden menu tricks but have been unable to find one that works on 2.2. I hear there is a way to do it if rooted but everything I have found has skipped steps that are assumed to be known. (IE: "enter *text* in the line". "what the crap line are you talking about?")

Thanks for the help and feel free to just link me to the right threads if I suck and searching.

I just copied this from another forum.

Secret Menus
EDIT: ROOT NOT NEEDED FOR THIS TO WORK.

This is a list of the codes to get into the secret menus on the SF. The list has been complied mostly by egg_head over at XDA, as well as a few others.

I shouldn't have to say it, but I will..
I nor this forum or the op is not responsible if you brick your phone.
Play with these things at your own risk.
Even if I said it's been tested by me and confirmed to work.
It's not my fault if your phone takes a crap on you.
Make a backup of your phone.

Some members of another forum where having trouble using these codes and I've discovered that you need Hidden menu enabled. To enable Hidden menu, do the following:

Go into the Dialer and enter *#83786633 then press the Home key
Go back into the phone dialer and enter *#22745927
Now a box will come up asking for the SPC code. Enter 000000
Press the Hidden menu Enable radio button.

Now you can use these codes.

The dialing code string you have to use is *##

Here are some things you can gain access to

Audio Tuning
*#28346#
Several audio tuning menus.
I've only tested the two items below:

To silence boot and shutdown audio go to Situation/BOOTSOUND and turn the values to 0. I've tested and confirmed this works.

To silence the volume key audio when turning the volume up/down go to Situation/VOLUMEKEY and turn the values to 0. I've tested and confirmed this works.

Full Bat Popup
*#3844228#
This allows you to disable the full battery pop-up.
I have tested this and it works successfully.

HwCodec
*#0002*28346#
Audio path volume controls. Most importantly, it looks like there's a sidetone adjustment.
I have not tested any of these items yet.

Shutdown
*#7594#
This enables you to shut your phone off by long-pressing the power/lock key.
No more pop-up confirmation.
I have tested this and it works successfully.
I also need to point out that this disables your slide lock screen.

Diag/Testing Mode
*#4636*1111#

GPSSetup menu
*#1472365#

The settings are set to the "fixed" values by default.
You can go into Command and then start GPS and force a satellite lock.
There's other cool info there too.

*#7594#

If your enable this, it appears to not only shutdown your phone with a long press of the power key, but it also disables your lock screen (puzzle/glass screen).

More codes to follow as we dig them out.

Yeah. I tried that but it doesn't work with Froyo

Can I use Odin to do that? That is the only way I know how at this point.

No you save the .zip to the root of your sd card and flash in cwm

Ok.... My noobness is showing. I will research and find out how to use cwm. Thanks for the help.

Turn your phone off then hold volume down button and then hold power button. It will boot into cwm. Use vol up/down to scroll, back button to select, and menu button to return to previous menu.

Once in cwm scroll down and select install zip from sdcarf, then select choose zip, then scroll down and find the zip file and select it then select yes. Once its done return to the main menu and select reboot system now

Hi,

Has anyone actually gotten the battery full alert to stop appearing with this info?

I got the hidden menu and such stuff to show up. I typed in the code to turn off the Battery Full warning, I type it into the dialer and when I hit the last digit it disappears on it's own.

However - the full battery popup still pops up, and makes noise in the middle of the night when the battery finishes charging. I've tried re-entering it 3 times - it just won't go away...

Yup. use "Shake Jones" link. Worked like a charm. The hidden menu does not work with 2.2.
