Galaxy 3 for Galaxy 4?

So I know I said that I want going to get the S4 because there wasn't much of a difference for me but I'm taking the plunge in august. I played with the S4 at Verizon and I have to say I am impressed. So. ... I'm a hypocrite. :D

You still living in a dream world, do yourself a favor and come back to planet earth. And six months from now there will be a faster phone, and six months from then there is going to be an even faster one, and the world will keep on spinning, right now the top phone is the S4, HTC One and Optimus G Pro, so I guess for people like yourself who always wait for the next great phone never get the next new phone. And by the way the X phone is nothing but a myth, it has been and will be till Google says otherwise, oops I meant to say Motorola.

I currently have a Thunderbolt and am sick and tired of it. I can upgrade to the G3 for $99 or the G4 for $199. Is the G4 worth the extra green?

TBH, I used to not think so but after playing with the phone and looking into the features I'm going with the S4. It's an all around better phone than the S3. But you should compare the two before you make your decision. A $100 difference is huge.

I've had both. If u can swing it go for the s4. If not the s3 is still solid!

my opinion... s4 is better in every way than the s3 and it should be.. its the case w most predecessor's other than the x2 (jab at guy above lol)

I had the S4, brought it back, not much of an upgrade from the S3, not worth it in my book, is the S4 nice, it sure is, but for someone that owns an S3, it is not a logical upgrade, now if you are coming from a two year old phone, yes it is, I am looking at the Note 3 later this year, with the Qualcomm 800 chip and Adreno 330 GPU, it will also be more battery efficient, have multiple radios, including A-LTE, USB 3.0, and many more features, combine all that with the Note 3, it will be just sweet, will have my S3 for a backup and the Note 3 as my day to day beast.

I upgraded from a Motorola Droid Bionic to a Samsung Galaxy S3 a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I went with this one because it had everything I wanted plus. It is still a very popular phone here along with the S4. I can get cases for either phone just about anywhere in my hometown. That wasn't necessarily possible with my Bionic after I had it for about a couple of months.

That's exactly my situation, and I think I'm about to take the plunge on the S3. My Bionic was my first smart phone, and I loved it. But I need the extended battery just to get through the day and I'm getting tired of the bulk. My only worry is that the Bionic took every drop I ever gave it. I do worry about the S3's durability.
