Galaxy Note 2 waiting Lounge

Same signal strength on mine as my droid x when it was new. 3 bars at work and full bars at home. I was in Wrightwood by the ski resort yesterday and had 4 bars each time I checked the phone. I had almost no reception over there with my droid x.

heres a screen shot this a.m. at work showing the typical all day bars. Great reception for me!!!

I plan to use it like I would a notepad. My wife always steals my notepads and pens off my desk. I also like to doodle alot and doodling on some pictures seems even more fun. Thats what I will start with anyhow. 4 more days till I have my phone =)

As I understand it, bars are not a universal guide to signal strength. One bar on one model phone does not necessarily equal one bar on another.

I'm not trying to suck the life out of your party, my GN2 seems about as good at getting signal as my moto was, but I'm not sure how to realistically verify and quantify that.

Actually there are many ways to get a true measurement of your signal strength via various apps but most phones also have it built in in settings.... because, you are right, the number of bars is only relative to that phone.

This is the first time I am every using a case on a phone, but when I try the phone without it it seems hard to hold. Between the large size, thinness, and slippery materials, it seems ultra easy to drop. Even the case I got has grips in both sides.

I don't trust myself without a case.. It will slip for sure.. I got another case.. This one from Sprint.. It's so slim and gives good grip..
