sorry about the joke, pb1. I totally forgot about titanium backup since I have been using wug's toolbox with my nexus. Its been a great tool that I will miss once I get the Note 2. He made it so easy to root, backup and restore my apps each time I installed a new rom. using the same gmail address will get your contacts, purchased apps and photos onto your new phone, like geoff said. If you don't want to root, then make a list of the primary apps you use so it will make it easier to remember when you get your new phone.
