Galaxy S3 Weather Widget

Came up on a search for 'uccw' for me in Play.

I found and got it installed, but the background is black, and Im not sure how to fix that.

It's not that simple. I mentioned before it took a bit to grasp it. Google how to use uccw. Plenty of videos. In the end it may be too involved.

OK, thanks for the help. I'm using the s3 ish weather set, and I'm having issues with getting the background to work correctly. Currently its black.

You've downloaded weather set, opened uccw, imported skin? Open app, upper right hand corner hit open, then open uzip. You need to know where the uzip was downloaded to. Also, if file has only zip at the end you'll need to change it to uzip.

Well, I'm gonna say I kind of did that. The reason I say that is because when you down then app add on, it installs itself so all u have to do is pick the widget and configure uccw. If u go to the play link below, the app even has a video with how to set it up. I followed the video and I still don't have any luck with the background not being black.

If you open uccw, then hit open button, then hit saved skins, does it bring you to the s3 skin? If no you didn't download correctly.

Yes it does, and u can see all the different widget size options.

I've never seen the black screen with everything else load including hotspots. Have you tried a few of them with same results? What phone are you running? You have everything set up correctly. Favor. Try another uccw widget if you have the time just to see if it loads. Perhaps the s4 version.

Sometimes they just won't work on my phone, but I only get white screen with nothing on it. At that point I just delete it.
