themib

hi themib. I just installed the b2 of this Galnet minuit ics. its working pretty well except the auto brightness setting. I want my screen brightness to be very sensitive to the light coming on it. which settings shall I use? I had a very severe eye surgery. your help would be appreciable. thank you.
I am talking about the advanced mode in the auto brightness setting.

try setting window length and sample interval settings, to shorter times
lower the number, the more sensitive

Flashed to this build Friday night, poked around to see what it all had a few days ( this was my first rom flashed ). I have been checking on the threads at rootzwiki also, so I flashed to the latest build, 2.2.4 B2. Sooo glad I fianlly flashed a rom and picked this one. Love how it has transformed my D2, breathing new life in it. I had been rooted since last fall and running; Android Overclock set at ULV 1.0ghz and V6 Supercharger. Using Quandrant, I was usually about 1650. Just ran it with the same 2 scripts ( AO and V6 ) set were I always had my cell when rooted so as to have an apples to apples test. At 70% battery, just did 2029. I am pleased with how my D2 runs now, much faster and smoother than before. Great looking UI also. This maybe my first custom rom, but I think I will be staying with it

I just flashed this rom last night and have had no problems with Handcent.

I'm curious though, is there a rom settings menu where I can remove the Verizon Wireless banner from the status bar?

Flashed the 2.2.5 update, haven't noticed any difference. Wondering if going back to stock GB and reflashing would make a difference. Not planning on trying it but, just curious.

There is almost no difference in 2.2.5, some have had more problems
It's been fine for me

Really like this rom. Thinking of moving to 2.2.10 this week from my current 2.2.4 B2. With this being my first rom flash, learning a lot about what it can do. Glad I dove into the waters, but not before a lot of reading on any possible thing I might run into. Between droidforums,XDA and rootzwiki, I have learned quite a bit. Never stop learning and reading,
