My assumption you waiting on the official update rather than use safestrap roms.

I had used safestrap roms and then very nearly bricked had to do full wipe and factory restore and lost everything...luckily i had most things backed up. this was not long ago and just havent done anything since i was thinking kk was going to be available soon...but with the delay coming down once again i might just redo everything using the method you posted

No problem Motorola is to me the second most easiest device to root behind Samsung . Samsung phone are unlock bootloader on sprint and tmobile.

To brick Motorola it hard especially if u have sd card slot on phone from 2012 and down.

I nearly brick my droid 4 was in kitkit roms and I had backup files on sd card slot got saved several times.

If levono add sd card slot like HTC did with one series in 2014. I will be happy with Motorola device despised their lock battery .

My mainly device I used are droid DNA and moto x.

To be honest the full hd isn't a big deal. The only time 441 ppi was great is in the sun I can actually see my phone through the sunshine on the
Ips display with it high pixel density.

Based on the moto x+1 it look like Motorola is using the same specs from LG g2. With the expection on moto makers. Plus the add on from Motorola software they added on moto x.

yea its just about a decision at this point moto is still an option...but there are still others im considering...like the G3 which i said before and the M8

Wait until LG update the LG g2 on android 4.5 or 5.0 Google summer update . By then you should see if u can trust LG with their update.

HTC I don't like that s off is hassled to turn off to update. Their devices isn't bad by any means.
