1 Do apps come with the droid automatically, like when you first get it you don‘t have to add them they are just already their?
2 How do you get to the app store?
3 Can you change the display themes or font?
4 Can you chose what apps are showing on the display screen?
5 How do you get to apps that arnt on your beginning display screen?
6 How do you exit out of things or get back to them if they are already open but you arnt at them?
7 Can you delete apps?
8 Do you have to pay for apps again if you bought them and then deleted them?

1)some do such as maps, facebook and some others
2)icon named market, by default it should be on your home screen
3)yes there are ways to change these
4)absolutely
5)long tap select apps on the popup, then just choose the one you want
6)beauty of multi task, you don't have to exit. just back out and go back to it later
7)yes you can delete apps
8)yes and no. if you buy an app you have 24hrs to try it out. if you delete it in that time they will refund your money. after that i believe you can just redownload it at no charge.

Thanks! I'm getting ready to switch to droid but I'm realizing its a whole new world.

Does someone have the link to the app store so I can see whats there?

1.) a few come preloaded
2.) There is a preloaded app for the market
3.) Yes, a new home replacement app will change the look, but to get a very big change in appearance you must root it...IMO
5.) From the market. (I'm unclear on what you mean)
6.) The apps that run in the background are not visible unless you go to your app settings and review the running apps.
7.) Yes
8.) When you purchase an app from the market it's stored in your Gmail account. When you set up your Droid you must enter your gmail account. That's how the market knows what you've purchased.
