Gingerbread Anybody?

I have been trying unsuccessfully to download the gingerbread update. I have gone to several sites and had the download stop and a message saying unsuccessful download cannot continue, and one site even gives a message that the download cannot be done due to too many links in download. If anyone can help me with a link I would appreciate it.

This has instructions for Rooted and NON-Rooted phones. You will have to be on stock firmware to update through the recovery menu.
