Gingerbread upgrade

I received an upgrade notification saying there is an upgrade available. I downloaded the 2.3.6. After the download the gps icon was gone, the Motorola weather widget says I'm actually one town over from where I am and when I post on Facebook my location actually says I on the other side of the state.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I discovered that simply flashing back to 744, then letting all the OTAs update, will still keep all your data and settings in place. Save a copy of the 'internal SD' on the actual (external) for restore once you're on 173. Don't worry about root, 173 can be rooted successfully by itself. Hope that to work for ya.
