It's clear to me that we have left the acceptance stage of 2.2 and moved on to anticipation. Several things could happen. Some Devs may come up with ROMs based on 2.3. Someone may leak a version of 2.3. And of course if that happens you have to make sure it's specifically for the D2, not the D1 or any other Android device.

Aren't there some phones out there still waiting for 2.2? I think the Fascinate is still running 2.1, I could be wrong.

Yup my brother inlaw got the Fascinate the same time I got the droid 2. He is pissed they dont have the 2.2 update yet
