gmail account

I'm sure this question has been asked and I'm sorry, but this is my first time on this web site and I dont know where to look for the answer.

I have the droid eres which i set a password on it, well my friend had my phone, trying to figure out the password, and locked me out of my phone.

I did create a gmail account, but failed to write it down. Is there any way that i can reset the gmail account for my phone?

Ok, so are you locked out of your phone or locked out of your gmail? I'm not quite sure which part is relevant. Please be clear on exactly what it is you need help with.

oh ok, I think i know what you are saying. You should be able to request the forgotten password from gmail.com on your computer.

If you are doing the unlock pattern, then I believe that it has you wait 30 seconds before trying again, or if you have completely forgotten the pattern, you just enter your gmail info. So if you remember your pattern, but not your Gmail, you should be ok to log in after 30 seconds or so.
