Gmail has stopped importing my emails

I got my Droid X back on the 24th and everything was fine. A little bit later maybe a week my X stopped importing emails from my Gmail account. I was getting an alert almost immediately after I received an email but now I get no notification at all if I get a new email in my Gmail account. I have tinkered around with it a little bit but haven't gotten it to work. Has anyone else had this problem? Could you help me out? Thanks.

Same here. I no longer get my e-mails pushed to my X. Thought it might be ROM related. But I'm running stock (2.3.340). Don't know.

I actually did flash Darkslide onto my Droid, but I am pretty sure it was still pushing emails after I did that. I think it must have been something I changed.

I too used roms. DarkSlide, Liberty, Rubix. Keep coming back to stock via Nandroid. So im not sure how this could be a issue. Especially since its happened to so many at a time.

From a home screen: Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All/Gmail/Clear Data. Give it a few minutes to re-sync and all will be well.

I found that if I set up my gmail under the regular email account on the phone. Not the gmail app. I am now recieving my emails again.

DROID Bionic...not receiving emails....and I came to a DROID bc my BB sucked...maybe I should go to an iphone?

From one of the home screens; menu/settings/manage applications/all/gmail/clear data. Gmail will resync itself and should be ok.
