When I get a new email I usually view it via the notification which takes you straight to the message. Hitting Back will then take me to my inbox and clear the notification/icon. However, if I hit home straight from the message the notification remains and the message doesn't get marked as read on the server until I view the inbox again.
Anyone else find this as annoying as I do? While its only an extra click to do back then home, its still an unnecessary step and I would think in the natural flow of things people don't usually need to go back to their inbox after reading the message.
