Gmail Notifier not showing subject in status bar...

I checked this option in the Gmail Notifier settings, still not working. It just shows me "new mail" and the # of unread emails.

Thoughts?

Yep, did a reboot, confirmed Gmail Sync is on and the Notifier setting is checked green, still only giving me the # of unread mail.

Open App Drawer --> Touch "Gmail Notifier" then "Settings".

Gmail Notifier is an aftermarket app, it's not tied to the stock Gmail app.
