Just want to chime in and say I'm having the same problem. I do hope it's on Google's end. I haven't had sync since yesterday afternoon (11/3/10). I've made sure the sync settings for my Gmail account are turned on, I've cleared data and cache from my Gmail app on the phone...I've gone through all the tricks short of resetting the phone to factory defaults.
My co-workers are not having any sync issues with their phones...granted they have different models (one with an Ally, one with a Droid, and the other with a Droid 2) so I would love to know what's going on. Is this just a Droid X issue?
