Same thing has been happening here for a week or so now. I'm still running an old SholesMod build, so I don't think it's 2.1 related at all.

I had this issue for one day and there was a reason for it.

I think this is definitely 2.1 related. Ever since 'upgrading' to 2.1 my gmail has been extremely fickle. I try and send something (normally a picture) and it states "sending" for hours. Sometimes the message actually gets sent, other times it doesn't. I have done power cycle, battery pull and factory data reset. Didn't load any new apps on my phone, same ones I've been using for months. Just now I checked my email on my computer and I had something send 45 minutes ago, it's still not on my phone, even after forcing a refresh.
