I sure hope this pans out. Well I would have no problems with it being available for us from vzw on the 10th either. But the only confirmed release date is europe=17th..and said to be released globally shortly thereafter. Well when it's the 17th there, it's the 16th here...so a few hours later would be fine by me. Bring on the 17th!

Thing is that the UK release date announcement indirectly confirmed the Nov 10th date for Verizon. Google/Samsung specifically stated that the US is going to get the Nexus before Europe and the 10th is the most likely date before the 17th, plus its a Thursday (verizons favorite day) and makes a lot of sense. I bet next monday we will hear the pre-order date for the Verizon Nexus start on the 3rd (Wednesday)

I don't recall them stating the US would get the Nexus before the UK(or anyone else overseas).

I re-watched the reveal in Hong Kong and it didn't say the US would get it first, so unless it's been stated elsewhere, I'd imagine we're looking at the 17th as well.

Ew, he did say it would roll out everywhere else shortly after the 17th. That's not a good sign for us.

Hope they dont announce or leak a quadcore phone with ICS before they announce the release of this phone. My OG droid is running slower than the new phones but is running fine. I would wait a little longer for Kal-El there is a leak for Droid 4 already.
