GNex - silence the camera

How can I turn off the sound the Galaxy Nexus camera app makes when it takes a picture? I went to silent mode on the phone, and the camera still makes the little plinking sound. I'm going to be taking photos at a presentation, and the sound would be very distracting for the audience. Thanks for any help you can provide!

I've figured it out. It's linked to the media volume, which apparently doesn't get set to silent when going to silent mode (which affects the ringer only).

If you turn the volume down while the camera app is open, it'll silence the shutter plink noise.

Turn it back up when you're done if you want sound with your media. ;)
